A Mentorship Program has been designed to assist
newly certified instructors in developing a strong identity as a
teacher and fine tuning their skills to better serve both their future
students and their chosen discipline. The Programme is setup as
an intimate setting between one teacher and no more than two students
at one time. It may run from 2 months to 5 months depending on the
candidates’ needs and skill level. The Mentorship Program consists
of the following:
- private or semi-private instruction
by the Mentor
- class assisting by the student
(with the Mentors class)
- one-on-one practice teaching with
the Mentor
- Anatomy review and fine-tuning
- pose and exercise modifications
review for special populations
- business development, marketing and
management
