2008 - Lululemon Features Shas
Studio as Studio of the Month for a Second Year in a Row.
Lululemon
has long been a strong supporter of the Yoga Community - since its
very beginnings, and this month (April), their Bloor Street location in
Yorkville is featuring Shas Studio as 'Studio of the Month'! They
are truly committed to promoting our studio in every way; they have
decked
their walls, counters, windows and mannequins with all things Shas,
from posters to signs to t-shirts that we designed especially for this
great occasion; you will even recognize our Signature Scent 'Scents of
Zen' home fragrance filling the air to help put you in a peaceful
mood. And that's not all, if you stop by on the
weekend, you will receive gift
certificates, lavender scent packs and our very own eco-bag with any
purchase.
This kind of support is usually something that is only extended to big
industry players,
hollywood stars and music celebrities, so it is with great humility
that we would like to thank
Lululemon for such a heart-warming endorsement.
March 2008 - Shas Studio is Greener Than Ever
In prepearation for and to celebrate Earth Month with a bang, Shas has
made the complete transition to being a fully green Studio. We
have replaced all our cleaning products and after-class toiletries with
natural, earth-friendly alternatives. And this year being our
third year in business, we were just running out of business cards and
gift
certificates so we have now been replaced them cute new designs and
this with 100% post consumer
recycled materials, all printed with vegetable dies and to top it all
off, the printer with whom we deal with (Impulse Solutions) is involved
in a special re-forestation program, and our orders have qualified us
to be
the sponsers of 4 new trees to be planted. Being green is easier
(and more fun)
than you think!
Grand Opening Celebration May 4th, 2006
This will be a night
I will always remember because it is a long held dream that finally
materialized. I am grateful to all my students, colleagues, friends and
family for all their support, encouragement and faith. A great big
thank you to all who were able to make it and share this very special
event with me.
A special thanks to
my boyfriend Doug, my brother Justin and friends/students Dimitri,
Alia, Shirley, Janet Dawson, Doug Clark, Sandra Dudley, Ron Youd &
Lisa Horrobin for all your help, this night would not have been the
same without you, and I am deeply grateful.

Shas Studio Opens its Doors January

Thank you to Basia
for giving me the space. Thank you Doug, Tamara & Kristian for
helping me gut it, repair it and repaint it – especially considering
this is right before New Years! And thank you to everyone who followed
me to my new space, your support was integral to my success, not to
mention the ongoing fabulous energy that keeps flowing and growing here
